One type of copying that used to be covered under our former Access Copyright license was the photocopying of small amounts of copyright-protected works in Access Copyright’s repertoire for distribution to students as class handouts.

As of this month we have another possible option for creating these kinds of handouts when the copying is not otherwise covered by open-access or institutional licenses or statutory exceptions to infringement.  This option is described in a new Copyright FAQ.
