On remand from the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia delivered a new opinion on March 31, 2016 in Cambridge University Press v Becker.  Using the Court of Appeals' fair use analysis approach "specific to the nonprofit educational purpose of teaching and the nontransformative nature of the use (mirror image copying)," the District Court reassessed 48 infringement claims, finding only 8 to be successful.
