In light of the passing of Bill C-11 in June and the Supreme Court of Canada decisions on five copyright-related cases in July, the Association of Canadian Community Colleges believes "much of the copying that occurs in institutions can now be made without payment of royalties to Access Copyright." And on August 30, the ACCC released an updated version of its fair dealing policy.
