  • Keep your comments brief so others may have a chance to speak.
  • Try to avoid spoiling major plot-twists as you talk about your book, whether recommending it or not.

Yes, as long as the University Library's food and drink policy and food and drink guidelines are followed.

Where can I find a book to read and discuss?

Short answer, anywhere!

Each month, the U of L Library will have a display of books for inspiration but book club participants are not limited to read a book from the U of L's collection.  You can read and discuss a book from your own collection, one borrowed from a friend, or from another library.  Lethbridge Public Library (LPL) is a great option for borrowing books -- if you don't have an LPL or Chinook Arch Regional Library System card, ask at the Library Services Desk about the TAL card; it's free!  To purchase books, the U of L Bookstore, Analog Books, or Chapters are local bookstores; however, purchasing the book you discuss is not necessary!
