Copyright Ownership

Creators of original works have the sole right to produce, reproduce, perform, publish, adapt, and distribute their works, and to authorize these acts by others. The Copyright Act allows users certain limited rights which are exceptions to copyright (user rights); these rights do not infringe copyright. User rights include those uses deemed to be fair dealing for purposes of research, private study, criticism, review, news reporting, education, parody, and satire.

Research Repository

University of Lethbridge Research Repository

The University's publicly accessible research repository contains a collection of research, data and publications completed by the academic community. University of Lethbridge users can find out how to deposit their research publications in Opus here.

Writing Centre

The Writing Centre provides students with practical writing support that supplements in-class instruction and helps students understand a wide variety of writing assignments, including: research papers, summaries, critical essays, literature reviews, annotated bibliographies, and lab reports.
