Library Lore was launched in Spring 2018 as a bi-annual newsletter to keep faculty and the University community abreast of noteworthy Library developments. These include new databases, services, and staff; upcoming Library events and workshops, initiatives in information literacy and instructional programs, and Library supports for teaching, learning, and research.
In 2023, we began to look for more streamlined and less resource-intensive ways to achieve the goals of the newsletter. The approach we landed on involves contributing short news items to UWeekly or the Notice Board and periodically consolidating the items as new issues of Library Lore. This approach offers the added advantage of capturing and archiving an array of Library-related news and initiatives that is broader and more inclusive than scope of the original the bi-annual newsletter.
This page houses all issues of Library Lore in its evolving formats.
