You can research inside the library's collection of ebooks, articles, academic journals, books, streamed videos, and more from the library's homepage. You can choose to simply type into the Summon search box, and Summon will look for your typed keywords anywhere in its database.
To save yourself time, you can instead open Summon's Advanced Search option, and search by subject, such as:
Once you have begun searching, notice your have option tick-boxes appear in the L-hand panel of your screen. Ticking some of these will help filter out resources you're not interested in. For example, use the publication date filter to eliminate resources that are too old for your needs, or the materials filter to choose only e-books.
