You can research the collection from the library's homepage. Simply type some key words into the search box, and it will generate a resource list from everything in the collection. If you get no results, try choosing different words, or a short phrase; typing in an entire question won't work.
When you have the list open in front of you, use the tick boxes to reduce the list to what you're looking for. Want Scholarly & Peer-Reviewed Articles but not Maps or Books or Newspaper articles? Easy. Be specific and save yourself time.
To save even more time, on the library homepage, click underneath the search box on the yellow text Advanced Search. Then, you can use a drop-down box to direct the search only to a specific subject, like finance, for your key words. This will generate a much shorter, more specific list of results, and the same directions about tick boxes still apply. Want to instantly access an ebook on finance in Canada? Done.
