...is an innovative University of Lethbridge (UofL) Library initiative which supports liberal education at the UofL by enhancing the Library’s commitment to information literacy. Under the liberal education pillar of breadth, information literacy is adopted for learning across a wide range of disciplines. Informed by the UofL Library’s Framework for Technological Fluency, Project Sandbox provides hands-on learning experiences designed to help students and the larger UofL community to develop key technology-based and creativity skills that are essential for success in the 21st century. Project Sandbox opportunities provide an inclusive and welcoming space for UofL students, faculty, and staff to explore, learn, and create through an array of supports and services such as:

• In-class workshops and demonstrations derived from our workshop catalogue or options for customized offerings.
• Library hosted workshops and events. See our workshop catalogue to see a listing of our offerings.
• One-on-one support for any of the software, equipment, or workshop content we provide.
• Access to high-end computers loaded with professional, free, and open source software.
• Loanable equipment which includes cameras/video equipment, audio recorders, virtual reality devices, electronic gadgets, and more.
• Curated lists of digital objects (e.g., images, videos, music, etc.), software, and asynchronous learning material that can be used for project creation.
