Public Health

CPHA’s mission is to enhance the health of people in Canada and to contribute to a healthier and more equitable world. It is an independent organization advocating public health through the promotion of health equity, social justice and evidence-informed decision-making.

Formerly known as the Canadian Diabetes Association, Diabetes Canada aims to counter the effects of diabetes by helping those affected by diabetes to live healthy lives, preventing the onset and consequences of diabetes, and discovering a cure. See especially Diabetes Canada's Media Room.
