Alternatively, you may wish to check out our self-paced recorded tutorials - see the "Are EndNote workshops recorded?" section, below.

Are EndNote workshops recorded?

Although we do not record our live workshops, a self-paced online learning option is available. To view the following videos, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. These videos were created using EndNote 20, but the overall functionality remains the same in EndNote 21.

EndNote Part 1: Basics (33:00)  Download slides or transcript

EndNote Part 2: Advanced (42:04)  Download slides or transcript

While viewing the videos, use the Table of Contents in the Description area or the links in the video control bar (between the volume control and CC) to navigate to specific slides or "chapters."

Is there an EndNote manual?

If you are using EndNote already, a good first place to begin is with the HELP function built into the application. Look for the Help icon on the toolbar of the EndNote application.

Alternatively, you may prefer to consult the EndNote manual. An EndNote manual is included as a PDF document with your installation of EndNote.

  • Windows users will find the manual in Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > EndNote 21 > EndNote.pdf
  • Macintosh users will find the manual in Applications > EndNote 21 > EndNote.pdf

Downloadable user guides are available from Clarivate for Mac and Windows users.
