In a world where all research is published with no costs for readers or authors, a nefarious villain has emerged and locked up open access resources behind a paywall. As a team of digital freedom fighters, your mission is to infiltrate the villain's secret lair and thwart their scheme before they can impose costly barriers on essential information.
With time ticking down, you'll navigate through a labyrinth of encrypted puzzles, codes, and information traps designed to test your wits and resourcefulness. The future of open access hangs in the balance—there's no room for error. Your escape depends on it!
In each time slot available, up to six participants can win a Movie Mill gift card, redeemable for a regular admission ticket, regular pop, and popcorn.
Important: For your safety and enjoyment, please note that the door to the escape room will not actually be locked, meaning that you can leave at any time if needed. Your well-being is our top priority, and this measures a stress-free experience for all participants.
