Notices

This guide provides details about notice types.

Courtesy Notice

You have received a courtesy notice, which means that you may have items due soon. Any eligible items have been automatically renewed and have an extended due date. Click here to view the titles that you currently have borrowed by accessing your Library record.

Returning Items. For details on how to return University Library and Faculty of Education Curriculum Laboratory items, click here

We understand that there may be exceptional circumstances (e.g., “I am in quarantine”, “I do not currently reside in Alberta.”, etc.) as to why you cannot return materials by their due dates. If you borrowed resources prior to the July 6, 2020 opening of our Anderson Hall (AH176) pick-up location, please contact us at gsd.library@uleth.ca for assistance.

Overdue Notice

DO NOT PANIC! You received an overdue notice, which means that you may have items that exceeded their initial loan period. Click here to access your Library record and view the items that you currently have on loan.

Fines. If you borrowed items before and due after our March 17, 2020 pandemic related closure, you will not be charged for overdue fines. Though fines may appear to accrue they are not assessed until items are returned, at which point they will be waived. If we err, please send a gentle reminder to gsd.library@uleth.ca for us to review the issue.

NOTE: If you borrowed items from the Anderson Hall pick-up location after July 6, 2020 or the University Library after August 9, 2021, you may be subject to fines for overdue recalls.
