Spatial Data
Also known as geo
spatial data, this data identifies the geographic location of features and boundaries of the Earth. Spatial data is accessed, manipulated, analyzed and/or mapped using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Numeric Data
Also known as
quantitative data, this data consists of computer-readable research data from various disciplines in the social sciences, humanities and life sciences.
Aggregate Data are statistical summaries organized into tables, graphs, etc. and
Microdata are composed of individual records consisting of a row of numbers (e.g., like the results of survey) that are extracted using statistical analysis programs such as SPSS or SDA.
