About Numeric Data

Also known as quantitative data, this data consists of computer-readable research data from various disciplines in the social sciences, humanities and life sciences.

Statistics are the numeric facts and figures which have been created from the data. Aggregate Data are statistical summaries organized into tables or graphs.

Microdata are composed of individual records consisting of a row of numbers (e.g., like the results of survey) that are extracted using statistical analysis programs such as SPSS or SDA.
