This guide provides an overview of both licenced and open spatial data collections available via the Library.

Available GIS Software Tools

U. of Lethbridge Library computers are equipped with ArcGIS products and other software. GIS software is also installed on the computers in the E6, AH, B7, and Atrium Study Center Computer Lab. These computers are accessible during regular computer lab hours.

QGIS is also an excellent choice for a free open source Geographic Information System. Statistics Canada  has produced YouTube videos to help you get started.

Batchgeo is a free and easy-to-use tool for geocoding and creating Google maps with spreadsheet-type data.
