Applies to individuals who are currently:
- enrolled in credit courses on the University of Lethbridge Calgary campus, or
- enrolled in an undergraduate program on the University's Lethbridge campus for which 75% or more of their studies or coursework places them temporarily at an off-campus location that is more than 90 kilometres outside the city limits of Lethbridge.*
*Students in category B. above, must provide the Library with a form completed by their course instructor or study supervisor verifying their temporary need for extended library service.
*This type of extended library service is not open to students in the Faculty of Education, even if they meet the above criteria in any of their teaching semesters. The regular Curriculum Laboratory loan guidelines already accommodate the Faculty of Education students who are teaching at a distance.

Loan limits:
- unlimited items from reserve collections
- specific items may not be available at certain times of the year, based on high-demand
- Curriculum Laboratory collections;
- limit of 5 items at one time from Curriculum Laboratory collections
- the following types of materials are not available for loan by distance users: Art prints and art bin materials, reference, fiction, oversize and picture file materials
- all Curriculum Laboratory materials are subject to variable, discretionary loan periods when in high demand by students enrolled in the teacher-education program
Fines Payment:
- all outstanding fines must be paid in full before library privileges are updated each semester
- fines payment may be made by:
- using Internet or telephone banking (enter your University ID number as the Account number)
- paying in person at the Calgary Campus Office
- mailing a cheque to:

Holds/Recalls/Bookings:
- holds/recalls accepted for items currently on loan to another borrower

- requests for copies accepted on periodicals
- holds/recalls not accepted on reserve materials
- bookings accepted for audiovisual software
- bookings not accepted for audiovisual hardware

NOTE: Some restrictions apply to distance students (not including students at Calgary campuses)
