Some business resources are a little different to cite than your typical article or book. Here are a few 'special cases':
Some Notes about Business Sources
Some business sources require adaptations to APA's guidelines. A few principles used to create the examples on this page include:
- If there is no title, put a description of the resource in square brackets.
- Provide the name of the database and the url of of the database you retrieved the work from when it is necessary for readers to be able to retrieve the information from that database. For example, this would be necessary for a data set from Simmons but not from Business Source Complete.
- As with 'regular' articles, there is no need to state 'Retrieved from' or the database name; instead, put the home page of the source (not the proxied URL in your browser, but simply the home page of the source site)
